Speaker Contest 2008

Our Annual Speakers Contest took place on Monday February 11th. The subject was: Immigration. We had the opportunity to hear 3 speakers from Sierra High School give their views on this very controversial subject. Our student speakers were Allison Cox, Andrew Johncox, and Kandice Yager.

They each had well thought ideas on the subject and did a great job. Our winner was Allison Cox, who went on to Zone level of the contest.

We were happy to have Andrew participating in his first Lions Speech contest, and sad to say goodbye to Kandice, who is graduating from Sierra High School after 4 years of participating. We wish her all the best!
